I am happiest when I can help my clients find the right policy at an affordable premium in order to help protect their loved ones at the most critical times.

I truly believe that life insurance provides for loved ones in worst case scenarios. It provides peace of mind that there is preparation for options while my clients continue to save for retirement, pay off bills and fund college accounts. Life insurance then becomes less necessary once those financial priorities are accomplished.

My wife April and I were married in 1999 and have three wonderful children. We both have life insurance policies just in case. Our families have suffered recent losses, including some relatives who passed away in their late forties. Witnessing the emotional and financial toll caused by the loss of a loved one first hand strengthens my resolve that life insurance has significant value.

We also lived through a scare when I went from stellar health to needing three surgeries. It sometimes takes you lying in a hospital bed with a morphine drip to understand the fragility of life and realize how proper planning when you're sane and happy matters most. I was born in Vietnam, escaped the war when I was 3. Even though I have experienced great sacrifices, I enjoy great opportunities afforded with our country.

I attended Texas A&M University after graduating from Wurzburg American High School in Germany and joined the Army a year later. Most of my immediate family has served in the Army, which has helped foster a strong desire to give more than I take. I spent nine years in the Army (7 years active and 2 in the Reserves), followed by six years in the mortgage industry, and two as a financial advisor prior to beginning my career with AIG Direct in 2007.

I have had the pleasure to live on every continent except for Australia and Antarctica. My career path and travels have given a profound respect and understanding of different viewpoints. Striving to be the best at whatever I do is important. I have had the fortune to receive the Top Knight award from AIG Direct which is given to agents who have over 2,000 active policies.
