Meet Anastasia DeSilva - Nationally Licensed Life Insurance Agent with AIG Direct

I've been working in the insurance industry since 1997. I started out selling auto/homeowner's/condo insurance at a small firm in San Diego and then transitioned to offering auto and commercial insurance. I have been selling life insurance since 2004 and haven't looked back. Helping protect families gives me more satisfaction than any other type of insurance business I've worked in.

Unfortunately, I've seen firsthand how important life insurance can be. I had a cousin pass away at the age of 34. He left behind a 7 year old son when he died. My cousin Philip had life insurance through his employer, but he was laid off before he died. The biggest regret in my career is not being there for my cousin when I should've shared the importance of this affordable option that could've made a difference is his son's life.

My mission at this point is to help people understand the importance of protecting their loved ones. If it can happen to my family, it can (but hopefully never will) happen to yours. I look forward to helping you and your family. Please don't let yourself be in the same situation as my cousin Philip was.

My free time: I enjoy the outdoors: hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, snorkeling and especially riding my Harley Davidson. Yes, I do carry Accidental Death & Dismemberment because I understand the risks of being active. Unfortunately, Term/Whole Life doesn't always protect us from the "Living part" with serious dismembering injuries.
