Each year since 2005 the Life Lessons gives scholarships to students who were financially impacted after losing a parent. Since its inception over 500 scholarships, totaling over a million dollars, have been awarded to help fund the students's college education.
For the first time, AIG Direct is participating in the program, and has funded two scholarships totaling $25,000. The AIG Direct management team reviewed 40 submissions and selected the following two individuals to win scholarships, based on their compelling and heartfelt stories.

One second winner is Judson Richards, Judson was 15 when he lost his dad, leaving behind Judson and two older siblings. When his father passed away suddenly, with no life insurance, his plans to attend Clemson University were in jeopardy. View Judson's video to learn more about him and his family.
